Starbucks (the loop and hwy 46)

I don't normally go to Starbucks, but I decided to go today. I was hoping to work at the new Boba place nearby, but they don't open until 11 :(

The inside of the shop wasn't too busy. There were a few people, but plenty of seating. The baristas were very busy though. There were a crazy number of pickup and drive-through orders (normal, I know). However, the employees were very friendly and I got my drink fairly quickly.

It's hard to deny, the drinks here are delicious. I'm an iced latte guy, and the pistachio latte I got was real good.

I don't like the idea of supporting a large chain over the many excellent local places we have, but a Starbucks every once in a while is ok I think :).

The seating inside is made for people to sit and work. It has several small tables with nearby outlets. They also have an outdoor seating area which is a plus for me since I really enjoy working outside.

Also, the employees here are very cheerful and friendly.

Coffee: I mean, it's Starbucks. To me it's pretty dang good. Slightly on the expensive side.

Food: They have the regular Starbucks pastries and sandwiches and things.  I've never liked Starbuck's food much. It's not great and too expensive for what you get.

Privacy: Not private but also there aren't people looking over your shoulder.

Public Restroom: It exists. Reasonably clean.

Available seating: Although It's busy, most people aren't staying inside so it's not hard to find a seat.

Outlets: Plenty of outlets available. The place is made for remote workers.

WiFi: Starbucks wifi. No password. It works well.

Noise Level: Fairly noisy. They play the music loud and there's a lot of employee action going on.

Overall this is a good location with reliable quality. It doesn't have the vibe of the local coffee shops in town, but it's a solid place to do some work if you prefer a slightly noisy environment.
